1 October 2022Following on from their 991 last year, Patta and New Balance reunite to rework the much-loved 990 V3.
Following on from their 991 from last year, New Balance and Dutch streetwear stalwarts Patta reunite. This time, they turn their attention to another silhouette from the coveted 99x series, spotlighting the iconic, Made in the USA 990.
It’s the V3 that gets given the nod — fitting, given its current popularity both collaboratively and under Teddy Santis’ Made in USA releases — with a rework that’s classic, yet progressive. Patta has always been an expert when it comes to sneaker collaborations — evidenced by a catalogue of iconic releases, spanning a long list of industry heavyweights — with a keen eye for elevated detailing and use of colourways. The Patta 990 V3 is no exception to that, with a combination of olive and lime green across the uppers, the latter worked into the underlays, and a speckled effect detailed at the sneaker’s midsole. Catering for the whole family, the New Balance x Patta 990 V3 comes in a trio of sizes: adult’s, kid’s and infant’s.
