14 December 2022Nike and Off-White continue to honour the iconic legacy of the late Virgil Abloh, releasing one of his original designs from his archive: the Air Terra Forma.
Nike continues to pay tribute to the everlasting legacy of the late Virgil Abloh this year, partnering with Off-White to honour designs from the multihyphenate’s archives. The sneaker, which is releasing in two colourways, is a reflection of the boundless creativity Virgil long championed, representing an original design from his catalogue.
The sneakers are, in every sense of the word, bold, with exaggerated features and intricate detailing used heavily throughout. The sole unit, for instance, is oversized, spiked and multicoloured to achieve a hyper-experimental look, while the uppers feature a bevy of unconventional details, from exposed stitch Swooshes to large zipped tongues. Virgil’s industrial touches are thrown in there, too, with cut-out holes and the signature zip lock tag used for added detail.
