Brain Dead prepares us for the colder months with the AW21 collection, casting winter staples through a bold and psychedelic lens.
Brain Dead was founded by Kyle Ng and Ed Davis in 2004, operating as a network of artists and creatives that spans the globe. Though the label’s output derives from an eclectic group of individuals, there is one thing that remains a consistent theme: experimentalism.
The collective operates as a kind of psychedelic melting pot of influences, creating clothing that pushes the envelope in terms of everything — right the way from the abstract graphics it creates to the unconventional construction techniques it employs.
That experimental approach continues as we head towards the colder months, with the creative collective taking us on a psychedelic journey with its AW21 collection. The drop, which marks the most expansive single collection in the label’s history, consists of an array of weather-appropriate garments — like fleeces, knits and heavyweight overshirts — that’re transformed using experimental graphics and eccentric patterns.
