END. X ADIDAS "TYING THE KNOT"

Celebrating the longstanding partnership of END. and adidas Consortium, the British retailer and German footwear titans present “Tying the Knot”: a two-piece capsule of collaborative sneakers inspired by romantic relationships and traditional wedding attire.  

Centring around the iconic adidas Japan OG W and the Superstar Vintage silhouettes, the collaboration honours the classic styles with a new make-up to love and cherish. Taking a trip together to Berlin, END. and adidas found five couples who encapsulated the love and understanding of modern relationships. Ruminating on their personal ways of showing love and how they share their lives together, their shared experiences offered an insight into the variety of ways love and tenderness can manifest in the modern world.  

Commemorating the union between END. and adidas with the Japan OG W and the Superstar Vintage, the brands subtly incorporate signature details across both styles to nod to the garments often worn by those getting married. Constructed with lace fabric across the uppers, the all-white Japan OG W is reminiscent of wedding dresses, embellished with END. branding to the heel in a shiny silver. The Superstar Vintage, by contrast, embodies the suiting of the groom in black and white, detailed with a remove-able kiltie across the lace closure, contrast stitching and a leather toe cap. Both silhouettes are made complete with the phrase “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” embossed underneath the tongue, with a co-branded vibrant blue insole ensuring you’re never without your “something blue”.
