In anticipation of the all-new Prophere silhouette, German sneaker institution adidas transformed Wringer & Mangle into the London location of a trifecta of European events last night. Digitally hyperlinked in real time to sister launches in Berlin and Paris, adidas' 'Transmission Prophere' connected an inner circle of European sneakerheads through space and time to celebrate the unveiling of adidas' latest footwear innovation.
The international launch event was planned in partnership with gold-standard streetwear blog and independent lifestyle publication Hypebeast, with action from all three of the European locations livestreaming across their channels to a global audience of millions.
Featuring performances from emerging underground grime artists from across London, the atmosphere was set ablaze with the unveiling of adidas' future icon.
Inspired by the energy of 90s footwear, combined with the grit and determination of contemporary underground music scenes, the Prophere features a chunky sculpted midsole, bold three stripe branding, and a forward-thinking lacing system.
The adidas Prophere will launch at END. on December 15th.
