This season, Eames creates its first sneaker in partership with Reebok, with the iconic Club C used as the canvas.
Legendary design duo Charles and Ray Eames are famous for their contributions to a vast number of creative industries, ranging from their groundbreaking furniture and graphic design to film and architecture.
This season, though, there’s a first: Eames Office — the firm ran by the third generation of the Eames family — partners with Reebok to rework the iconic Club C, marking their first step into the sneaker world. The pack consists of two colourways — one black, one white — with both staying true to the shoe’s timeless aesthetic.
All the model’s classic features are there, like the smooth leather uppers, simple panelling and plush terry lining. Eames’ influence comes by way of the branding, with block letter font worked into the sidewall window and a sun-like logo at the tongues.
