With a storied history of collaboration, END. and New Balance join forces once again to deliver an expansive capsule that brims with vibrant colour and sporting appeal.
Dubbed “Rainbow Eucalyptus”, this colourful collection draws inspiration from the exotic tree of the same name. Known for its spectacular multi-coloured bark, the Eucalpytus deglupta – or the Rainbow Eucalyptus – is native to the Philippines, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, primarily residing in rainforest regions. Serving as the influence for this selection, END. and New Balance present a Made in England 1500 sneaker alongside athletic apparel – marking the first time the two titans have offered a head-to-toe range.
Emulating the flora’s unique colouration and distinctive aesthetic sensibility, the 1500 sneaker features a palette of Nimbus Cloud, Burnt Olive, Desert Rose and Moonstruck, cast across a combination of pigskin suede and nubuck leather. Embellished further with a bark-patterned sockliner and co-branded detailing, this model was made to an exacting standard at New Balance’s UK factory in Flimby. Housed inside a bespoke shoebox built to mimic the unique bark pattern, the interior is scented with the calming fragrance of eucalyptus leaves.
Accompanied with a selection of sportswear garments, the “Rainbow Eucalyptus” capsule offers a running jacket, hoodies, t-shirts, sweatpants, running shorts, a cap and a sock multi pack cast in the eponymous tree’s signature colour combination. Detailed with co-branded embroidery, eucalyptus leaf prints and New Balance’s signature “NB” logo, END. and the American stalwarts cement their collaborative relationship further with an ode to the natural world.
