Enveloped within the pursuit, Cole Buxton has built a visual language that balances aesthetic properties drawn from the classic cuts and fabrics utilised by bodybuilders, paired with a dedication to quality and their trademark essentialist attitude. Sharing the 7-piece collection, the London-based brand reflect further on this important stimulus, producing a selection of garments perfected for use in and out of the gym.
“Ever since the beginning, the philosophies and aesthetics of bodybuilding have been entrenched within our ethos. Encompassing not only the cuts and visual language, but also in what the sport demands from its athletes and followers,” comments Brand Director, Jonny Wilson. “Adherent to the school of classic body building, we designed a capsule collection, uncompromising in cut and surmounted with a heavyweight type, that will be at home in the spartan halls and gyms of this discipline, anywhere in the world.”
Consisting of t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts, each garment in the collection is detailed with a nod to classic bodybuilding gym attire and branding, emblazoned with “CB GYM” print across the chest and back. With a simple athletic colour palette of vintage black, grey marl and white, each piece has been designed with the astute fastidiousness we have come to expect from Cole Buxton.
