Devoted to presenting archival adidas sneakers with a modern sensibility, adidas Spezial share their second drop of sought-after silhouettes for SS19. Imbued with the label's signature retro appeal, the Gary Aspden-helmed line provides a luxe interpretation of a trio of exceptional German footwear models.
Each with their own individual charms, adidas Spezial present the GLXY, the Silverbirch and the Earlham, hardwired with classic adidas DNA running through their stellar construction. A reworking of a signature '80s silhouette, the GLXY features the OG's instantly recognisable removeable midsole plugs - a unique feature that captures the inherent charm of old-school style. Presenting a handball sneaker plucked from the court, the Earlham distils sportswear aesthetics into the perfect triple-white casual option, brimming with The Brand With Three Stripe's vintage sensibility.
Completing the pack, the Silverbirch is presented courtesy of Legendary London-based adidas collector and graphic designer, Robert Brooks. Fusing elements of the adidas Denver and the adidas LA, Brooksie ensures that the Silverbirch adds to the Spezial legacy with its unique charm.
