Adidas became an instant icon in 1954 following the victory of Germany in the World Cup and has been creating high performance sports apparel since. Adidas’ Forum Low sneaker has been given a not so festive update this season, referencing the famous Christmas grouch from the Dr. Seuss books, The Grinch. They’re decked out with yellowy-green hairy-suede uppers - designed to mimic the texture of the infamous character - while darker green overlays dress the toe cap, eye stay and mudguard. The coveted 3-stripes remain at the sidewalls, along with the signature Velcro hook-and-loop strap, while story charms from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” feature at the laces. Underfoot, a solar green midsole and tonal rubber outsole round the playful design together.
