Developing his groundbreaking "THE TEN:", Off-White head-honcho Virgil Abloh presents his latest rendition of a Nike classic in the shape of the Air Jordan 1 'UNC' for summer 2018.
Originally released in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 'UNC' paid homage to Michael Jordan's University of North Carolina days where he won the 1982 NCAA National Championship as a freshman.
Sympathetic to the OG design yet distinctive Abloh, the Chicago-born designer's enthusiastic rework keeps the memorable blue and white colourway and iconic AJ1 decals, such as the wings motif to the ankle, while adding his own unique touches such as the repositioned swoosh, orange accent stitching, medial-side print, and "ZIP TIE" branding.
