NIKE X NOCTA GLIDE “WHITE CHROME” – REGISTER NOW
19 October 2023Nike and Drake’s NOCTA imprint returns with another rendition of the hyper-experimental Glide sneaker.
Nike and Drake’s NOCTA imprint represents a love letter to the Swoosh archives, though not in a way of imitating the past, rather using it as a tool for pushing things further into the unknown. The latest sneaker from the two, the “Glide”, is the perfect representation of that.
It’s very much inspired by the ZF95, with visible cues drawn from the unconventional basketball sneaker’s bulbous sole unit and carbon fibre-like overlays. There are some alterations which bring it into the now, though, like the tweaked sole unit, mesh uppers and NOCTA branding to signify its origins. This time around, the Glide arrives in a clean white and chrome colourway, the latter worked into that distinctive sole unit to really drive home the retro-futuristic aesthetic.
