18 May 2023Nike evokes wanderlust with the latest Air Max 1 “Escape”.
With the latest Air Max 1, Nike pays tribute to its legendary heritage in trail running, reworking the iconic sneaker with heavy references to the great outdoors. It’s dubbed “Escape”, a name derived from the trailblazing, adventure-enabling runner from 1984 with the same moniker.
Channelling that, the sneaker is given a rework with references to Nike’s Pacific Northwest origins, most notably with a forest silhouette embroidered at the sneaker’s heels. The rugged details continue elsewhere, too, with durable suede overlays and boot-inspired laces.
