Maharishi 'Year of the Rat' - Launching 17th January

Celebrating the turn of the Chinese New Year, London-based streetwear label, Maharishi, present their Lunar Year of the Rat capsule collection. Detailed with intricate embroidered imagery that offers up expressive renderings of the animal being celebrated, this selection pays respects to the rat, a creature renowned in the East for its skill, resourcefulness and status as one of nature's greatest survivors.

Featuring a stadium jacket that proudly boasts an intricate woodblock-inspired embroidery, an embroidered tour shirt and trackpants constructed from Italian cotton, the Year of the Rat capsule fuses Maharishi's dedication to quality production with an important cultural event. Printed graphic t-shirts are embellished with imagery that honours the Rat as a sign of wealth, while distinctive patterns pay homage to the art of Yangzhou paper-cutting.
