Inspired by "anarchy in the mountains", HAVEN and Setsumasa Kobayashi's Mountain Research imbue a functional military staple with technical outdoor appeal.
Joining forces with one of Tokyo's streetwear stalwarts, Alberta's HAVEN present a technically-minded capsule that bridges the gap between their utilitarian outlook and Setsumasa Kobayashi's own form of practical, outdoor clothing provided by his label, Mountain Research.
Following the ethos of "anarchy in the mountains", Mountain Research has been a mainstay within the Japanese streetwear community since it first appeared on Tokyo's burgeoning scene in 1994. Centralised around a fresh interpretation of one of Kobayashi's most iconic silhouettes, the bomber jacket with detachable vest, this capsule offers a truly tactical aesthetic in line with HAVEN's futuristic and covert stylistic intent. Supplemented with the Phiserman trousers, the A.I.T.M. hoody and tee, the collection is rounded off with a customised bandana and a plush protestor bear toy. Detailed with dual-branding, HAVEN and Mountain Research fuse their logos, creating an all new emblem from their respective "H" and anarchy symbols.
The HAVEN x Mountain Research capsule is coming soon to END.
