Blondey McCoy visits the dead for Thames' AW17 lookbook.
British skateboarding icon Blondey McCoy continues his ongoing love-letter to London with his brand Thames' AW17 lookbook.
Taking inspiration from the gravestone of John Bindon which reads 'Debt collector and an awful actor and a very naughty boy', Thames' latest collection was shot in Putney Vale Cemetery by New York photographer Michael James Fox. The cut and paste quality, combined with ominous classical statues and historical references are, alongside London, recurrent themes throughout Blondey's work.
The collection itself boasts fresh iterations of the styles that have bolstered Thames' following over the past few season. Coming off the back of his recent, nostalgia-heavy collection with Fred Perry, Blondey plays with a bold colour palette and graphic prints for AW17. The Thames logo is featured on T-shirts, shirts, long sleeves, trousers and more, with printed apparel laying the base for more experimental pieces.
Thames AW17 is coming soon to END.
Thames at END.
