This season, thisisneverthat and GORE-TEX continue their partnership, creating a collection that blurs the lines between city and outdoor garb.
Seoul-based thisisneverthat is a label that refuses to be defined by one category. Instead, it plucks from a myriad of sources, creating an aesthetic that sits at the crossroads of everything from streetwear to utility garb.
A case in point is the label’s upcoming collection with iconic material producer, GORE-TEX, which takes traditional outdoor aesthetics and brings them into the city. The famous material comes in two forms — one a three-layered waterproof version, the other the breathable and windproof INFINIUM™ variant — and is used across a variety of different styles, ranging from bold, graphic-heavy knitwear to utilitarian fleeces.
