END. filters out the fodder to deliver the best-in-class sneaker styles pounding the pavement at New York Fashion Week SS19
The epicentre of global fashion, New York sets the style stakes high at the beginning of each show season as associated fashion buyers, press, and influencers arrive in Manhattan to preview the latest collections from NYC's crop of established and fledgeling designers.
With a clear proclivity for the current 'dad-sneaker' trend which broke through in 2017 as a result of Raf Simmons' Ozweego with adidas and Demna's infamous Triple S at Balenciaga, an inner-circle of New York sneakerheads took to the streets with their style established from the ground up. Ozweegos and Triple S were well represented in myriad colourways, pounding the pavements alongside Kiko Kostadinov's collaborative GEL-BURZ 2 with Asics.
On the more tactical side, Nike's Epic React 87s and the Acronym Vapormax Moc were out in force.
True to the brand's NYC roots, Public School New York's take on the classic AF1 silhouette were seen in all three colourways.
