Tapping into the brand’s subcultural influences, Stone Island look to football, Grime and UK Rock music for inspiration across a trio of fresh footwear silhouettes. Brimming with the brand’s trademark sporting charm, each style offers a distinctive and unique perspective on the Italian label’s DNA.
Individually styled offering a significant response to Stone Island’s historic relation to subcultures, the sneakers incorporate the brand’s charm into their singular aesthetic impulses. Drawing inspiration from evergreen football models, the Football Sneaker celebrates Stone Island’s approach to colour, pairing monochromatic details across a varied material blend.
The capsule’s two music inspired sneakers look to different eras of British sonic subculture - Britpop and Grime respectively – further encapsulating the breadth of Stone Island’s inspirations and influence. A classic low-cut amalgam of retro army trainer styles, the Music Sneaker features lace tips that nod to the brand’s black metal trims, while the Grime Sneaker is peppered with details plucked from Stone Island’s archive, such as the style’s moulded rubber tongue and eye-catching stitched nylon uppers.
