Saucony x Afew Master Shadow 5000 'Goethe' - Launching 28th October

Having debuted as part of the Saucony running line back in the 1980s, the Shadow 5000 was built with performance in mind as one of the first silhouettes to make use of a compression moulded EVA midsole. Effortlessly transitioning from the track to the streets, the suede constructed uppers offer up a style-heavy ride with a premium edge.

Known for high-culture points of reference, Saucony looks to Wolfgang Johann von Goethe and the Goethe Museum in Düsseldorf as the inspiration for this fresh iteration of the Shadow 5000 silhouette.

Referencing 1700s German architecture, the rose and grey colourway pays homage to the 1763 castle which houses the Goethe museum. Matching the ornate details of the ancient architecture, Saucony makes use of the finest materials throughout.

Making reference to Goethe himself and his contribution to international poetry, prose in exquisite calligraphic script features prominently across the shoe.
