Rapha is a label that has long crossed over into the wider world of fashion, not only through its perfect balance of performance and aesthetics, but through its slew of coveted collaborations with labels at the cutting-edge.
Rapha continues to carve its own unique space in the performance world by partnering with Brain Dead: the creative collective who seamlessly shifts between forms, ideas and subcultures.
The collection is centred around technical apparel for mountain biking, with the two labels creating technical apparel that balances aesthetics with a rugged, off road focus. Brain Dead’s eccentric visual codes are placed front and centre of the collection, with a heavy emphasis on exuberant patterns, vibrant treatments and otherworldly graphics. The apparel itself is rugged and technical, ranging anywhere from a lightweight, windproof and tear resistant jacket, to a technical long sleeve with a honeycomb structure that stands away from skin for comfort, wicking and cooling.
