Originally launching over 20 years ago in 1999, Puma’s Mostro sneaker derived its name from the Italian word for monster. A hybrid sneaker, designed by Peter Schmidt, that offered up a mutant aesthetic that appealed with its unusual and sculptural form, the Mostro was an iconoclastic silhouette that captured the zeitgeist at the turn of the millennium with its experimental outlook.

Constructed with a mesh upper, overlayed PUMA Formstrip and the sneaker’s trademark elastic strap closure, the groundbreaking style is reframed to seamlessly slide into the contemporary fashion milieu.
