GANNI X 66°NORTH: Utility Meets Playfulness

GANNI and 66°North reunite for their third capsule collection, continuing to work technical outerwear through the Copenhagen-based label’s bold and exuberant lens. The collection represents a meeting of GANNI’s effortless style and 66°North’s heritage of extreme outdoor clothing, resulting in playful utility wear suited to any setting, inner city or outdoor.

The apparel, which ranges from pants and vests to neoshell jackets and bucket hats, showcases a shared commitment to responsible craft from the brands, with each piece made exclusively from unused fabric rolls and recycled materials like nylon and polyester. On this approach, Bjarney Harðardóttir, 66°North’s CEO, said “our shared ethos for responsible designcomes together in the circular approach of this collection, to which we were able to bring our technical expertise, depth of manufacturing know-how and the transparency of using our own factories”.

The collection’s palette is inspired by the striking natural beauty inherent to Iceland, ranging from the northern lights to volcanic landscapes, captured through the contrast of yellow, green and turquoise hues and subtle, earthier tones, like beige, grey and deep red. Co-branded graphics are used throughout the collection, too, to really drive home the bold look.
