Despite working together for decades, AW17 is only the second time Carhartt WIP and Italian retailer Slam Jam have come together. Taking inspiration from the gas station workers of the 60s, this “Minute Man” cap is as fitting in the modern man’s wardrobe as on the heads of the workers who would provide quick fixes to the Americans road-tripping across the country. A trucker cap influenced by the hard-wearing uniforms, the signature mesh, foam front and the logo patch – where the petrol company logo would go – add authenticity.
