Since its inception in 2011, Japanese streetwear outfit Cav Empt has established a cult following of global fans, eager to consume their cybernetic, print-heavy commentary on contemporary existence.

Drawing pseudo-satirical reference to the scourges of our hyper-digital, bureaucratic societies, the streetwear stalwarts release bold collections imbued with a sense of dissidence and subversion. Tapping masterfully into youth culture's overwhelming sense of nihilistic irony, Cav Empt's garments are the graphic ideology of a dontcaredotcom generation.

Perhaps best demonstrated with their logo's not-so-subtle appropriation of the Conformité Européene (translation: European Conformity) marking - a ubiquitous symbol present across products traded within the Europen Union - Cav Empt uses its platform to take aim at unnecessary social systems and the establishments that built them.

With the trio behind the brand coming from backgrounds at A Bathing Ape and Billionaire Boys Club, the creation of market-ready streetwear product is in their DNA.

Cav Empt AW17 is now available at END.
