END. TALKS WITH ACTION BRONSON & SAMUTARO @ END. LONDON
29 June 2023To mark our latest instalment of END. Talks, and to celebrate Action Bronson’s collaboration with New Balance, we invited the creative luminary to END. London to sit down for an in-depth discussion with Samutaro.
The evening marked the launch of Action Bronson’s 990 v6, dubbed “Lapis Lazuli”: a further extension of the illustrious, multifaceted career of the artist. As Bronson sat down with Samutaro for the talk, it was this diverse, endlessly creative career that formed the focus, with the luminary figure charismatically delving into multiple facets of his crafts and passions.
The evening began with the multihyphenate talking about his earlier days in culinary school and the lessons he learned, touching upon the drive and hard work this instilled in him from a young age. Following this, the two then touched upon how Action Bronson approaches music and writing, which operates like a mirror reflecting the things he holds dear to him, with everything from cars to food references woven throughout his lyrics.
Action Bronson then naturally went on to speak about his love of keeping active, in the enjoyment and benefit to be had in strength training and the change it made for his health and wellbeing. Following the tour through Action Bronson’s creative achievements, the evening closed with the multihyphenate interacting with the audience of diehard fans, discussing questions, signing pairs of his collaborative 990 v6s and stopping for photographs. The evening was soundtracked by DJ and END. regular, MJK, as well as refreshments and food provided by Brick Lane icon, Beigel Bake, and natural wine purveyors, Nouveau.
