Nike Jordan gives a nod to the many rivals Michael Jordan faced throughout his accolade filled career with the latest women’s Air Jordan 2. Gone are the sleek one-colour uppers – in their place, a kaleidoscope of colour delivered in an asymmetrical pattern across the two shoes.

Taking the yellow and gold from the Lakers, the blue and orange from the Knicks, the green from the Celtics and the red from MJ’s Chicago Bulls, it’s a fitting homage to the trials and tribulations the G.O.A.T. faced through the late ‘80s and ‘90s. What remains, however, is the 2’s premium construction; numerous leather finishes are teamed with different textiles to complete the tributary pair.
