ASICS x mita sneakers x Beams GEL-Lyte III 'Souvenir Jacket' - Launching 7th October

Renowned sportswear brand ASICS join force with fellow Japan natives in the shape of retailer mita sneakers and Beams for an inspired rendition of the GEL-Lyte III.

Utilising the iconic Yokosuka jacket as a point a reference, a garment that was given as a gift to the American military stationed in Japan, the GEL-Lyte III features a number of the iconic details. The shoe upper is made of navy pigskin nubuck and velour, and an embroidered dragon face adorns the heel. 'Japan' is lettered in an original script along the heel panel, with the tongue featuring the same call-out for 'MITA' and 'BEAMS' on the tongue of the left and right shoe respectively. Finishing off the collaborative effort is an original dragon graphic which graces the sole and mita's iconic fence print to the insole.
