AN EVENING WITH NIGEL CABOURN PRESENTED BY DANNY LOMAS

To mark the debut in END. Talks, our ongoing series where we discuss thoughts and ideas with prominent cultural figures, we invited legendary British designer Nigel Cabourn and model Danny Lomas to our Newcastle flagship store.
The evening saw Danny and Nigel chatting about everything from how their close friendship was formed to the enjoyment in travelling and hunting for vintage finds.
Fashion design students from Northumbria University were also invited along to the evening, allowing Nigel to share some advice from his half-a-century long career spent in the industry. Nigel also handpicked a selection of garments from his vast, 3,000-pieces-plus archive, with everything from a Carhartt chore coat from the 1930s — complete with the original tags still intact — to his legendary Everest parka on display, allowing visitors, students and fans a glimpse into the designer’s legendary vintage collection.
