Social Status x Diadora B Elite 'X Pic' - Launching 23rd December

Diadora and US-based retailer Social Status have partnered once more to rework one of the most beloved tennis-court sneakers from the Diadora archive: the B. Elite.

Having first hit the international sneaker scene back in 1981, the silhouette was worn by some of the most iconic tennis champions of the decade. Now, nearly 40 years on, Diadora has teamed with one of North America's most influential retail voices to recreate the sneaker for 2017.

The 'X Pic' features premium suede upper construction, given a rough textual treatment to add a contemporary edge to a classic Italian material. Drawing inspiration from the iconic mocassin, the toe box and heel counter feature decorative 'x' stitch detailing giving the shoe a sense of regal classicism. The shoe is finished with leather laces and tri-colour lace beads at the vamp; stamping the Made in Italy sneaker with the country's chromatic insignia.
