Acne Studios AW18 Editorial at END.

Swedish label, Acne Studios, has always been borne of a singular mission: to reflect creative director Jonny Johansson's pursuit or pure-play creativity as a vessel for the communication of new ideas or as a reflection of contemporary culture.

For AW18, Johannson wanted to explore his ethos of pure creativity by enlisting the help of brand consultants - all of whom were under the age of 14 - to collaborate with him on the new collection, each sketching their vision of clothing for the contemporary market.

The result is an eccentric exploration of oversized proportions and abstract fits, brought to life in a range of playful textiles and colour combinations that shine the vision of children through a luxury lens. Combining elements of 2-D illustration with scatterbrained, free-form colouring that extends well outwith the lines, Acne Studios AW18 collection is a potent reminder that although we might lose our imagination as we age, beneath it all, we're young at heart.
