6 September 2024To mark the launch of Yinka Ilori and The North Face’s FW24 NSE collection, END. hosted a celebratory evening with the esteemed artist at END. London.
Yinka Ilori and The North Face’s FW24 NSE collection is centred around reframing our perception of bad weather, reflecting the optimism and positivity at the core of the artist’s outlook. To celebrate the collection’s launch, END. hosted an evening of festivities at its flagship London store, welcoming guests to meet the artist in person and immerse themselves in the collaborative collection. The evening saw a full launch zone takeover of the FW24 NSE Yinka Ilori collection, welcoming visitors into the technicolour world of the London-based artist.
The evening kickstarted with guests gathering round to listen to a speech from the renowned artist, where he touched upon various topics close to his heart, from the power of positive affirmations — and how this came true with working alongside The North Face — to thanking close friends and family who have been there since day one. Following this, guests were invited to take part in a screen-printing workshop, where each attendee could hand print their own numbered posters to take home, each one vibrantly coloured with Yinka Ilori’s motifs from the collection.
As guests chatted with Yinka and took part in the printing workshop, DJ Izzy Bossy soundtracked the evening with an array of genres ranging from R&B classics to contemporary hip-hop. Guests were also welcomed to a variety of refreshments, in addition to bao buns and fried chicken provided by BAO.
