NIKE X JACQUEMUS JF1 – REGISTER NOW
14 June 2023Nike and Jacquemus reunite for an experimental take on the Air Force 1, dubbed the JF1.
Last time Nike and Jacquemus joined forces, they took an elevated stance on a Swoosh icon, the Air Humara, reworking the sneaker through the Parisian fashion house’s premium lens. With their latest collaboration, the two continue to spotlight fan-favourites from the Nike line-up, though things are a little more experimental this time.
The sneaker is dubbed the JF1, a name derived from its Air Force 1 origins, which represents a complete transformation of the ever-iconic sneaker. The uppers, for the most part, resemble that of the sneaker of inspiration, only the sidewall panelling is tweaked and features a much smaller Swoosh. It’s at the sole where things deviate dramatically, with woven nylon cord that wraps around the mid sole to nod to one of Simon Porte Jacquemus’ favourite sneakers, the Nike ACG Terra. The sneaker arrives in two classic colourways, both white and black, and features co-branded detailing at each heel.
