adidas Originals by Pharrell Williams SOLARHU Pack - Now on END. Launches

Continuing their collaborative Hu series for Autumn/Winter 2018, adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams reiterate their common belief that, through sport, we all have the power to transform lives.

Developing this endearing ethos, Pharrell looks to the fearless colours, bold patterns, and stylistic flair of East Africa, where running is deeply ingrained in culture.

The collection is a confidently creative execution of two new-age Three Stripe icons. The SOLARHU NMD evolved the iconic NMD style with a new, trail-inspired outsole and ribbed Primeknit fabric that evokes intricate weaving techniques in a clash of colours. Contrasting monotone patches - inspired by running bibs - are emblazoned with an array of slogans such as "MOTHER" and "LAND", "EMPOWER" and "INSPIRE" or the Swahili worlds "MIELE" and "MBELE" translating as forever and forward.

Similarly, the Tennis Hu is subtly styled with East African inspiration. Striking pattern variations of the sneaker's Primeknit uppers are designed to conjure a handmade look and feel. The shoe also features an EVA midsole, suede overlays at the heel and toebox, and a unique lacing mechanism with leather eye-stays.

Rounding off the inspired capsule is the SOLARHU TT FZ Jacket, which combines adidas innovation and the collection's distinctive aesthetic into a lightweight, double-layered woven track top.
