Air Jordan and Travis Scott’s partnership is one filled with many experimental takes on Swoosh icons, but there is one sneaker amongst them all that continues to be brought under the spotlight: the ever-iconic Air Jordan 1. The two are back with yet another rendition of the much-loved sneaker, dubbed the “Black Phantom”, which includes all the idiosyncratic codes you’d expect from La Flame.
The Swoosh, for instance, is reversed on the lateral side to achieve Travis’ signature look, while the heels are detailed with both the Wings logo and an all-new bee motif. In terms of the colour palette, things are far more understated than previous link ups, with the sneaker coloured in all black and detailed with white contrast stitching. The sneaker comes in a trio of sizes, too, to cater for the whole family, as well as apparel that reflects the experimental approach.
