7 January 2023Teddy Santis and New Balance continue to cast the much-loved 990 through a refined lens.
Since officially taking over as Creative Director of New Balance Made in USA, Teddy Santis has been steadfast in refining and elevating the label’s 990 and its coveted variants. As we enter 2023, Santis and New Balance continue with that same momentum, as the latest renditions of the much-loved 990 show.
The first is a rework of the 990 v2, with a tasteful off-white, black and blue palette used across its premium leather and mesh uppers. The second, a rework of the 990 v1, takes on a subtler, earthier colour palette, with brown suede panels joined by off-white underlays across the uppers.
