15 August 2023Celebrating 20 years of Pharrell Williams' brand, Billionaire Boys Club team up with Moncler for a capsule collection that fuses Italian luxury and modern streetwear.
Founded 20 years ago by Pharrell Williams, Nigo and Rob Walker, Billionaire Boys Club has spent the past two decades building out their vision of modern streetwear – one that reflects the brand’s mantra: “Wealth is of the heart and mind, not the pocket”. Teaming up with Italian luxury outfitters Moncler, the American brand deliver a selection of garments that reflect their own outlook, sewn into the rich tapestry of Moncler’s history as a brand at the forefront of technical excellence.
Starring legendary rappers Pusha T and No Malice, the collaboration’s campaign showcases the two brands’ combined vision through a unique, new logo featuring Moncler and BBC branding – an amalgam Moncler lettering and BBC’s signature astronaut emblem.
Centring around a duo of outerwear pieces – a down-filled Melton wool varsity jacket and a down puffer jacket embossed with BBC’s iconic Diamond & Dollar pattern – the collection deftly combines the core codes from both brands. Complemented with a wool and cashmere blend knit sweatshirt, a crewneck tee, a hoodie and trackpants, the collection is rounded off with two accessories – an ultra-fine jacquard knitted beanie and a twist of Moncler’s Trailgrip Après boot, complete with a Vibram MEGAGRIP tread and GORE-TEX waterproofing across its make-up.
