Heron Preston Autumn/Winter 2017 collection - now online

New York Designer Heron Preston presents his first eponymous collection - titled “For You, The World” - for Autumn/Winter 2017.

Following on from his ecologically-minded collaboration with the Department of Sanitation New York, the collection boast varying hues of camouflage and relaxed sportswear, injected with industrial graphics and zingy orange accents throughout.

Renowned for taking conventional themes and reinterpreting them for a contemporary audience, Preston's debut collection is distinctly visual array of thought-provoking pieces that has functionality as its primary focus. Take for example the brand's use of the colour orange throughout the collection, especially on the Italian-made Heron Windbreaker. Cut from a technical satin in a head-turning zingy orange colourway, which is constructed from a resilient outer layer and branded front pocket to battle the elements.

Distinct graphic pieces complement the retina-rattling use of colour, primary example being the Long Sleeve Heron Jersone Tee that features an impressive heron illustration to the front, whilst housing the bold typographic message of 'ATTITUDE OF MAN - ESSENCE OF WOMAN', which runs consistently, alongside the designer's 'CTNMB' motif, throughout the collection.
