THE NORTH FACE FW24 NSE X YINKA ILORI

Yinka Ilori reunites with The North Face to bring his vibrant optimism to classic outdoor gear with the FW24 NSE Collection.

Yinka Ilori is a London-based Artist and designer renowned for his bright, technicolour creations and optimistic energy — a creative ethos which has even gained him the title of “Ambassador of Joy”. Yinka is well known for fusing his British and Nigerian heritage in order to tell amusing, bemusing and, at times, provocative stories, with the end goal of bringing optimism and joy to people’s lives. His work shifts between multiple mediums, where the artist transforms spaces of all kinds from public parks to shop fronts, community centres and railway bridges.

With the FW24 NSE Collection, the artist reunites with The North Face to pair his bold optimism with the esteemed outerwear brand’s iconic garments. The focal point of the collaboration is an optimistic reflection on weather, where we reframe our thinking to view all weather as good weather. What if rain was celebrated? Wind welcomed? The cold embraced? All of this is spotlighted by the London-based artist, reflecting the positivity and joy at the core of his work. It’s a collection aimed at dreamers who reimagine the rain and smile at the storms.

With the garments themselves, classics from The North Face's mountain archives are transformed with bold exuberance, featuring Yinka Ilori’s multicoloured patterns across everything from the Denali Fleece to the Rainshell jacket.
