Stella McCartney and adidas continue their ongoing partnership, creating a performance-focused capsule using eco-minded materials.
adidas and Stella McCartney have long held a harmonious partnership, having debuted their first collaboration in 2005. Each collection from the two represents a seamless combination of their design codes: a fusion of high-performance sportswear with sleek cuts, precise lines and, of course, eco-minded constructions.
The two reunite with another collaboration this season, with innovation and eco-minded materials underpinning everything in the collection. Take the Ultraboost 21 sneaker — it’s constructed using Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials, and features a caged, sock-like upper for comfort and support.
The apparel throughout the collection mirrors that approach; gym staples, like leggings and shorts, are cut using materials that are recycled, moisture absorbent and super breathable, while hoodies are cut to cropped fits using organic cotton and recycled polyester. The capsule includes a plethora of accessories that promote an active lifestyle, like yoga matts, studio bags and a convertible bum bag.
