THE END. X COLUMBIA WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP @ END. MANCHESTER — EVENT RECAP
1 December 2023END. hosted a wreath making workshop at END. Manchester, celebrating our latest collaboration with Columbia, “Douglas Fir”.
For our latest collaboration with Columbia, titled “Douglas Fir”, we channelled a symbol of positivity and playfulness, drawing inspiration from the Smiley Face Hill seen outside of Willamina, Oregon. To celebrate the launch of the collection, we hosted a wreath making workshop at END. Manchester, allowing each attendee to create their very own wreath inspired by the famous Smiley Face Hill.
The evening saw attendees take part in a step-by-step workshop led by local Manchester-based florists, Northern Flower, where each person was given their own laser-cut template based on the Smiley Face Hill. Each template was entirely unique to the attendees, etched with branding and numbering and decorated using preserved moss and air plants. Workshop attendees were also given co-branded tote bags allowing them to take their wreaths home, each bag decorated with the graphics used throughout the "Douglas Fir" collection.
Alongside this was a wine tasting session hosted by local natural wine suppliers, Vin de Bodega, in addition to organic food provided by Manchester-based artisan bakery, Companio.
