Presenting the Rick Owens x Birkenstock SS21 offering, the Californian neo-Gothic designer combines essentials silhouettes with unusual details to deliver the perfect blend of the esoteric and the practical. Applying an iridescent coating to two of the five styles, Owens subverts the Arizona and the Boston's comfortable and workaday charm with a twist of eye-catching colour. Complete with the Rotterdam silhouette, Rick Owens and Birkenstock continue their dark dalliance, melding the unusual with the functional to great effect.
