Nike’s “Goldenrod” colourway is a Dunk icon, having graced the model since the debut “Be True To Your School” campaign in 1985.
We’ve seen many iconic colourways grace Nike’s Dunk, but the “Goldenrod” is arguably the most coveted of all. We first saw the colourway, dubbed the “Iowa”, as part of the sneaker’s iconic “Be True To Your School” campaign in 1985, then again with the super-rare Wu-Tang Dunk that released in ’99.
This season, the Swoosh is revisiting that fan-favourite colourway, this time applying it to the Dunk Low. The shoe’s leather uppers are colour blocked in black and gold, just like all of those icons from the archives, then joined to a two-tone rubber sole to drive home the court-focused look.
