The Irish designer has gained a cult following through his passions for the weird and wonderful, becoming a firm favourite on the global rap scene. Returning for the next chapter in his ongoing collaboration with Converse, Anderson dares to redesign an icon: the Chuck Taylor 1970s Hi.

Delivering four fresh iterations of this hardwood classic, JWA dual brands the sneaks with his insignia placed alongside Converse’s All-Star patch. In terms of tooling, an OrthoLite® sockliner bringing comfort to the interior, while he experiments with wrapping the midsole and toecap in felted fabrics.

Revered for his love of arts and crafts aesthetics, Anderson and Converse come together to celebrate texture this season; with glitter and PVC predecessors, the partnership introduces felt to the pairing’s playful archives.
