It’s easy to see why Universal Works’ Kyoto jacket has a cult following. A hard-wearing layer, it's inspired by David Keyte’s time spent in Japan and the old work jackets that he found in thrift stores there. This version of the UW staple is cut from Hickory stripe denim (the archetypal workwear fabric) while the rest remains the same, with two ties allowing it to be worn multiple ways, blending simplicity and functionality.
