Now, nearly 30 years on, the fundamentals of this message still inspire the hearts and minds of millions to strive for greatness every day.

Paying masterful homage to Michael Jordan's unrivalled on-court drive, fueled by thirst-crushing energy drink brand Gatorade, the Jumpman brand has announced the release of a range of Air Jordan silhouettes in electric 'flavourways' - each inspired by the colour and spirit of a classic Gatorade product.

The Air Jordan 1 is arriving in Cyber Lime, Blue Lagoon, and Orange Peel 'flavourways', decked out in an all-over vibrachrome complete with iconic wings branding, and Gatorade logo details throughout. Finished with a tonal midsole, elevated with an icy translucence, this sneaker pack is the bold streetwear statement to define the beginning of a new year.

The Air Jordan 1s will be followed by a pine green riff on the Jordan 6 silhouette.
