Salehe Bembury is a designer who is a relentless innovator, constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through exploring form, function and experimentalism. His ongoing partnership with Crocs is the perfect example of this approach to footwear, where Salehe takes elements of the familiar and transforms them into something new and disruptive.
The latest from the two, another iteration of the sought-after Pollex Clog in the dark blue “Como” colourway, embodies the hyper-innovation of Salehe Bembury. The Clog is moulded using three of Bembury’s fingerprints fused together, which not only gives it an other-worldly appearance, but also enhances function through multi-directional traction. They’re designed with ventilation holes at high-heat areas of the feet, too, in keeping with Bembury’s ethos of exploring both form and function.
