NEW BALANCE X SALEHE BEMBURY "YURT"

Building on their close collaborative relationship, New Balance and superstar designer Salehe Bembury set up camp with their latest capsule collection. Dubbed “Yurt”, the offering is inspired by the traditional portable round tent used by a variety of nomadic groups, whilst also taking cues from Bembury’s affinity with hiking the hill trails of Los Angeles.

Infused with an unusual functional edge, the two 572 YURT sneakers are detailed with Bembury’s trademark aesthetic principles, while a fully operational whistle sits to the heel should you need to scare off wild animals, locate your friends or simply add a bit of noise to your sneaker rotation.

Supplemented with a selection of apparel detailed with Bembury’s signature design codes, the YURT offering is brimming with playful charm, outdoor style and an unusual utilitarian edge.
