Carhartt WIP launches RELEVANT PARTIES, a new monthly podcast series dedicated to the work of groundbreaking record labels around the globe. The first episode features Stones Throw Records. Founded in 1996 by DJ and producer Peanut Butter Wolf, the Los Angeles-based label is known for its eclectic sound, which ranges from hip hop to experimental psychedelic rock, with elements of soul, funk and jazz in between. The label has also released records by acclaimed artists, such as J Dilla, Madlib and Dam-Funk, as well as a new generation that includes Knxwledge, Kiefer, Sudan Archives, and Mndsgn.
