END. Debut: Liam Hodges

Raising the bar in utilitarian British menswear.

Noise Hoody | Vareuse Popover Parka

Since launching his eponymous label back in 2014, Liam Hodges has translated his interest in 'an expressive, polysyllabic masculinity' to an international cult audience with an affinity for his distinctly British, subculture-laden aesthetic.

Having laid a powerful foundation with the support of a slew of industry insiders, artists and musicians, Hodges is famed for his inimitable sports-infused, utilitarian DNA which masterfully balances menswear counterpoints to develop an image of contemporary masculinity with a relevancy which has catapulted the fledgeling label to one of the most highly anticipated shows on the LCM calendar each season.

Tapping into themes and ideologies at the forefront of the global zeitgeist, Liam Hodges imbues each collection with a concept and narrative which sets a new bar in designer storytelling in the streetwear arena. For SS18, Hodges brings the 'Noise' with a collection inspired by the peaks and troughs of living in an always-on-dot-com generation. Drawing inspiration from a range of references from grime, two-step, and pirate radio, through to spoken word artists, zine culture, anarchist scouting, and folklore, Liam’s collections have always adopted a hyper-hybrid approach, that combines sportswear, workwear, and DIY culture.

For his END. debut, Liam Hodges SS18 invites you to make sense of the lines between digital and physical and find strength in the noise.

Liam Hodges SS18 is now available at END.
